Masonry
Consultation

We Always Find the Best Solutions for Your Project

The job of masonry restoration begins long before the dust starts to fly on the construction site. In order to protect the structural historical integrity of a project, we provide our clients with an in-depth consultation to educate the client on the current issues and damage in their masonry. We outline what we believe will be the best course of action to restore and protect the structure well into the future.

We can collaborate with contractors and architects to provide these services on projects in which we are not doing the restoration labor work, providing clients access to our vast knowledge regardless of the labor contract.

In these consultations, we provide damage diagnosis and outline any necessary repairs, as well as help create a project budget and answer important questions about mortar recipes, ideal products, water repellants, and more.

Tax Credits

The U.S. Government and the State of Montana offer income tax credits for the rehabilitation of income-producing properties listed on the National Register of Historic Places. These credits incentivize revitalization of historic real estate and level the playing field when redevelopment costs exceeds the cost of new construction. The Federal credit awards successful applicants an income tax credit equal to 20% of their rehab investment. The State of Montana’s income tax credit is equal to 25% of the amount an owner claims under the Federal program. Those wishing to claim the state credit must first be certified for credits under the Federal program.
